Ken Ishii の作品を通して、世界は日本のエレクトロニック・ダンスミュージックシーンに気づいたと言っていいだろう。
彼の偉業は本当に多いけれど、中でも私がもっとも心に残っているのは、日本国外で共にプレイしツアーした事、ワールド・ワイドなアーティストとして新たな音を、新たなオーディエンスに届けた事だ。
私たちが「テクノミュージック」の名の下に東洋と西洋の文化間でのリンクを確立し
たことには特別な意味があった。
このアート・フォームでは、15年間は30年間ほどに値するし、
そのほとんどの時間彼を知っているということは本当に喜ばしく、
栄誉な事だと思っている。
彼はこれまでいかなる時も重要なプロデューサーでありつづけたし、
今も、そしてさらにこれからも注目すべきプロデューサーである。

Through the works of Ken Iishi, the world was given its
first clear view into the Japanese Electronic Dance Music
scene. His accomplishments have been many, but the ones
that remain in my mind the most were the times we played
together outside of Japan, traveling as international
talents bringing new sounds to new audiences. There was
this special sense that we established a common link
between Eastern and Western cultures, joined together in
name of Techno Music.
In this art form, 15 years feels like 30 and it's been a
pleasure and honor to know Ken for most of them. He has
always been a<n> essential producer, one to watch closely now
and well into the future.
